Changing your smile can change your life, many patients have new confidence that helps them with their personal lives.

Our goal is to provide each and every patient with the "five star treatment". To achieve all of these goals we want our patients to realize we spend time designing and consulting with the patient. The most important part of the smile makeover treatment is in the designing and diagnosing, and learning from the patient what he or she desires. SMILE PROBLEMS FAQ

How Can Chipped Or Rotated Teeth Be Corrected?

Small chips or fractures on teeth can be corrected with bonding procedures. The long term restoration of choice is porcelain veneers. A bonding is less durable, can be done in one visit, and is less expensive. Both procedures can be color matched to your teeth.

How Can Uneven Teeth Be Corrected?
There are a number of ways to correct uneven teeth by either cosmetic recontouring, porcelain veneers, bonding, crowns, or orthodontics. Veneers give the best esthetic result; however, the only way to determine which treatment is best for you is through a thorough and complete personal consultation and examination. This can be done through a preliminary smile analysis or a detailed and complete cosmetic consultation.

PORCELAIN VENEERS
Porcelain Veneers are exceptional state of the art treatment for appearance treatment and to close gaps, change appearance and color of teeth and realign crooked teeth. Porcelain veneers are not indicated for patients with unhealthy teeth that are decayed or for patients with gum disease. These conditions must be treated prior to veneer treatment. Porcelain veneers are not indicated for those who have insufficient amounts of enamel or weak teeth due to loss of tooth structure. Patients who grind their teeth can easily fracture porcelain veneers. These patients must wear an occlusal guard at night to prevent fracture of the veneers.

PORCELAIN VENEERS FAQ

What are Porcelain Veneers?
They are thinly sculpted pieces of porcelain placed over the front surfaces of teeth to create a new appearance. They are permanently bonded to the tooth surface and improve shape, color and make an immediate impact on one’s appearance and smile. Veneers can correct problems associated with chipped, cracked, malformed, or poorly positioned teeth. Veneers are also used to correct spacing problems (gaps) and color.

What are the Veneer Procedures for Patients?
Teeth are prepared for veneers by removing a thin layer of enamel from the teeth usually 1/2 -1 mm of outer surface. Impressions of these newly prepared teeth are taken and custom veneers are fabricated. Temporary veneers are placed for appearance and function. The custom veneers are then placed onto the teeth by a bonding procedure.

Can Cosmetic Dentistry Give Me A More Youthful Appearance?
By placement of porcelain veneers or crowns our patients can experience a more youthful appearance by diminishing wrinkles around the lips, give a fuller lip appearance and cheek look. NON SILVER METAL RESTORATIONS

What are Non Silver Metal Restorations?
The practice of placing mercury based silver metal fillings in patients mouths can be replaced with composite or porcelain fillings or onlays. The elimination of dark metal fillings avoids the unaesthetic appearance that the silver fillings offer. The latest generation of composite and porcelain materials last and wear as well as or better than the silver/mercury based filling material. In addition, there is no mercury in the composite or porcelain materials. The result is a restoration that is appealing to the patient, esthetically pleasing, and really looks a lot better in the mouth. Preparation of the teeth for these type of restorations can sometimes be more conservative than the placement of the silver/mercury filling material.

EXTREME SMILE MAKEOVERS

What are Extreme Smile Makeovers?
Extreme Smile Makeovers are perhaps the most dramatic change that can take place in the appearance of the teeth. Usually, this procedure takes two visits to accomplish, usually within one to two weeks time from start to finish. A dramatic result is accomplished quickly with the patient having a complete cosmetic result of their smile and teeth. The placement of porcelain veneers allows the patient to have the same dramatic smile makeover that is seen most recently on the ABC series "Extreme Makeover."
